Keith Miller, Historical Curator, LTSF from Atkinson, NH sent the following  email.

Dear Claudia,
Here are scans of two postcards from your lake. We have them in our image collection from old Camp Lone Tree which is south on Rte. 107 at #107 north Road. Around 1941, the camp staff had to take the Scouts up to the town beach to swim because the State of NH deemed the water at Freeses Pond to be unsafe due to leeches. The camp Director was George T. Laing who had these postcards. Included is a pic of the old Lone Tree Camp headquarters from the 20's shortly after the purchase by the Amesbury, MA BSA Council.
